Waxy O'Connors is an authentic Irish restaurant situated in the heart of Westville - Durban.
Delicious home made pies and casseroles include the Georgie Porgie Pie - cubed beef and button mushrooms slowly cooked in a red wine, ale and brown onion sauce; and the Beef Guinness Casserole - cubed beef, slowly stewed with Guinness, bay leaf and carrots.
Speciality dishes include the Green Peppercorn Fillet - fillet stuffed with mushrooms, green peppercorns, mozzarella and served with a fresh peppercorn sauce; and Waxy's Chicken - crumbed, stuffed deep-fried chicken breast, with bacon, mushroom, mozzarella and topped with a tangy cheese sauce, served with veg and fries.
