Situated in the heart of the Helderberg Winelands, this colour bright, rustic restaurant offers breathtaking views of both the Helderberg and Table Mountain. The restaurant offers a relaxing atmosphere, whether it is on the terrace in summer or beside the fire in winter.


Menus, enlivened with South African touches, have a sense of fun and adventure, with changes dictated by the seasons. Only the freshest often organic and where possible local ingredients are used to prepare the dishes. The extensive, well-chosen and informatively annotated wine list is amusingly parochial, highlighting the Helderberg region before moving on to “the rest of the world”, showing the quality, dedication, and in fact, the diversity of the South African wine industry.

The walk in the cellar is a browser’s delight, the home to a selection of rare and vintage wines.
