ART|Stellenbosch is a new contemporary art event that will be hosted annually in Stellenbosch.

Stellenbosch is South Africa’s second oldest town and a cultural centre which attracts thousands of local and international visitors annually.

ART|Stellenbosch plans to be a progressive art event, designed to add to the town’s reputation as an art centre and cultural destination.

Participants include; galleries, museums, studios, artists, designers, corporate and private collectors, selected on the basis of submissions and proposals, to present an exciting and vibrant art event which boasts a cross-section of exhibitions, installations, performances, lectures, tours and workshops.

ART|Stellenbosch already includes strong local participation but aims to expand in future years to draw international participation and audiences.

The quaint university town is transformed into a centre for contemporary art, promoting works by local and foreign artists.
