Springbok, the town of diamonds and copper, is also known as the "Heart of Namakwaland" Springbok's annual Namakwa Festival celebrates the indigenous culture of the people of Namakwa and includes shows with snakes and birds, arts and crafts exhibitions, sport races, tribal dances, storytelling, theatre/dance performances, as well as a street carnival.
