Information
Heavenly Stables offers: Scenic 2-2 1/2 hour beach rides through the Sardinia Bay Nature Reserve where one could catch a glimpse of Bushbuck, duikers, vervet monkeys, a large variety of birdlife and other small animals. Then enjoy a relaxing ride on the beautiful Sardinia Bay Beach or enjoy an exhilerating gallop for the experienced riders.
After a stop for a refreshment, head on back home through the reserve. The ride is suitable for 1st time riders up to experienced riders.
For those who prefer a shorter distance we offer a 1 hour ride through the Sardinia Bay Nature Reserve. Suitable for novice to experienced riders.
Lessons are also available for 1st timers to experienced riders, riding well schooled horses and ponies. These lessons include dressage, showjumping and cross country training.
Ponies are also available for hire for childrens parties, functions and fetes. Pony and handler is delivered to your event.
Directions
Go past the airport towards Walmer. At the 1st robot turn left into Heugh Road. Go up to 10th Avenue and turn left into Victoria Drive. Go over railway line. Go past Arlington Racecourse. The 2nd road to the right after arlington turn right into Sardinia Bay Road. Go up 1.1km and you will see the sign Heavenly Stables on left just after Glendore Sand Quarry.
