A UNIQUE ART & GIFT EXPERIENCE IN THE KLEIN KAROO - A DESTINATION NOT TO BE MISSED!

4,4 kilometers outside Oudtshoorn on the Rooiheuwel Road an interestingly different gallery awaits you. An old dairy on the Jamstreet Farm got a fresh new look with white enameled walls and floors, corrugated and reed ceilings enhanced by striking lighting.

- A surreal exhibition venue, - a creative oasis in the dessert, - a fresh approach, and - a creative orgasm - are but some of the remarks by visitors to MOOOI.

MOOOI is the brainchild of owners Danie du Plessis and Wim Rheeder. On display in the gallery are paintings and sculptures by well-known and young up-coming local, national and even international artists.

Adjacent to the gallery is a hip gift shop and they have just added a boutique coffee shop and a small farm stall section. The MOOOI rock-shandy is the talk of the town not to mention the delicious cakes they serve.

On the farm they have also built the first bottle labyrinth in the world. 6 252 bottles were used. It is based on the floor plan of the San Vitale church labyrinth in Ravenna, Italy, their oldest church labyrinth dating back to 533 BC.
