Winner - South African Tourism's welcome award National best Self Catering 2008. At Mountain Magic Garden Suites, we offer three well equipped self-catering suites, all with balconies or a garden. Our guest house, while only 5 minutes away from the vibey restaurants, cafes and unique boutiques of Long Street and Kloof Street, and 10 minutes from Waterfront and beaches, is set in tranquil, indigenous gardens. Each apartment has either a spectacular view of Table Bay, the city at night or a grand view of Table Mountain or its own garden or both. Take a swim in our large sparkling pool or take a walk on adjacent Signal Hill whilst you take in the splendour of the lights of the Bay lights or Table Mountain.

Establishment Details - Mountain Magic Garden Suites

The Mountain Magic Garden Suites ( self catering ) Guest House has 3 well equipped suites with breathtaking views They are set in lush tranquil garden with great views of Table Mountain, the bay and the city bowl, right We are in the heart of the ’10 minute’ suburb of Tamboerskloof (so called because you’re only ten minutes by car from all the major attractions). There is a large pool in the grounds and we border on a large grassy meadow. All of our suites also have under-floor heating, keeping you warm and cosy in the winter months!
The house is situated at the end of a private dead-end street where we have very few passers-by, so our suites are private and secure. We are within walking distance of Kloof Street and Long Street’s restaurants, bars, cafes and shops though the return journey is uphill! We’re family friendly.

Property Description: Breathtaking views or Table Mountain and Bay and /or city from most suites.
All suites have private-use balcony or patio or garden (some have all three!) and are serviced on every weekday. You can do your own laundry or our staff can also do personal laundry for a small fee.
All suites have Wi Fi connection, well-equipped kitchenettes, en-suite shower rooms, dining table and double sleeper couch and cable TV in the lounge. King, double or twin single beds. A large pool and parking is also available for your convenience.

Directions to Mountain Magic Garden Suites

From the airport, follow the N2 towards CITY.
Stay in the left lane and where the road forks, stay LEFT towards M3 CABLEWAY
(If you miss it, don't panic, just keep looking for the CABLEWAY signs which will appear later
Once you've passed through the curves you will come onto a long straight downhill. Watch out for speed cameras here (speed limit is 60km/hour).
Go under the pedestrian walkover and take the offramp LEFT (always signposted to CABLEWAY).
After passing the Mount Nelson Hotel and the Long/Kloof Street intersection, you will be in Buitensingel Street and come to a set of traffic lights which T-junctions with Buitengracht Street.
Turn left towards the CABLEWAY
This road becomes Kloofnek Road after about 500m at a busy intersection.
Continue up towards the mountain until you see a school sports field on the right (about 500m).
Where the sports field ends, turn RIGHT into St Michaels Road.
About 500m up the hill you reach a stop street. Turn LEFT into Upper Albert Road.
The next street LEFT is Rael Street and Magic Mountain garden Suites is the last property on the left.
Ring the MAIN HOUSE buzzer at the gate.

Bay Lights, 1 bedroom, sleeps 3

Overview	This is one of our most popular suites, especially with couples. It has a panoramic view of Signal Hill, the city and the Bay, either from your balcony or your bed. This suite features a bedroom and lounge areas combined, kitchenette and en suite shower room and can be fitted with king-size or twin single beds. There is a large sleeper couch in the lounge with an eating area too. It can sleep two adults comfortably or two adults and a child. The suite has underfloor heating, a heated towel rail, access to our WiFi LAN and cable television

Mountain Magic Garden Suite, 2 bedrooms, sleeps 6

Overview	This is our largest suite. It has two double bedrooms and has wonderful mountain views of Table Mountain from the main bedroom. Each bedroom has a double bed and there is a double sleeper couch in the lounge with futon-style mattress. The suite opens directly on to your own tranquil garden with direct access to the swimming pool. The suite can sleep four adults very comfortably. or 6 at a push, using the sleeper couch. This suite has cable television, underfloor heating and access to our WiFi LAN.
Bed configuration	It is available with a two double beds and a comfortable double sleeper couch. Cot on request.

Palm Garden, 1 bedroom, sleeps 4

Overview	This is our large semi open plan, studio suite. It has a tranquil patio garden setting with some view of Table Mountain from the bedroom and the balcony. Thebalcony overlooks your own private garden patio where you can eat out under the shade of an olive tree ! The apartment has a king-size bed ( or two twin beds) and there is a lounge with an eating area. The suite has a private shower room and a basic kitchen area. There is a large pool on the grounds with fantastic views of Table Mountain. The house is situated at the end of a private dead-end street where we have very few passers-by. You have access to our WiFi LAN, cable TV and laundry facilities.
Bed configuration	King size or twin singles plus futon-style queen-size double sleeper couch. Cot available on request. Extra single bed could be added on request.

?Brilliant place to stay with amazing views of Table Mountain?

We were in the Mountain Magic suite which had the best ever views from our bedroom! we also had use of the garden which had a great pool and lovely BBQ area. We used taxis to get into town which were really easy, using a freephone number from the apartments. It was great as a family to have a space to chill out. But maybe the best thing were the hosts Kon and his wife. Nothing was too much trouble, they were so helpful. especially sorting out us getting our lost property from the airport. They made our first few days in Cape Town very special, just what we needed. I would definately stay here again. The sheets etc were first class.
