The most popular hot air balloon trips are: in the Magaliesberg near to Johannesburg, Sabie and Hazyview in Mpumalanga, Oudtshoorn in the Karoo, Drakensberg and Natal Midlands in KwaZulu Natal and Cape Winelands during the summer months.

Diving
South Africa offers some incredible deep sea diving locations from coral reefs to ship wrecks and more. Aliwal Shoal near to Durban and the Protea Banks near to Port Shepstone as well as the cold waters of Cape Town and Rocky Bay are probably the most popular diving areas in South Africa

Shark Cage diving
Shark cage diving can be experienced in Gansbaai and Mossel Bay. It is absolutely safe and no prior diving experience is needed. The best months for shark cage diving is May to October, the South African winter.

The Western Cape is the perfect place to mountain climb Table Mountain, Signal Hill, Lion’s Head, Chapman’s Peak and the Cedarberg Mountains offer superb viewing. Whale Watching
Whale watching in South Africa is done from June to November, although whales can also be spotted outside of these months. Some of the best viewing spots for Whale watching would be in Lamberts Bay on the Cape West Coast, the Cape Peninsula, False Bay, Hermanus, Arniston, Mossel Bay, Wilderness, Sedgefield, Knysna and Plettenberg Bay.
