Artscape High School Drama Festival | Event

The annual Artscape High School Drama Festival consists of several mini festivals across the Western Cape during April and May.

The 12 most promising schools are then selected to perform at the main festival in September at the Artscape Arena.

With the theme Moving Mountains, 13 schools were selected out of 52 entries.

Schools develop, write and perform their own dramas in any of the Western Cape’s three official languages.
