Information
The Vaal Dam was completed in 1938. It is the main water supply for the PWV and mining areas.
It is the largest water sport area bounding with power and sail craft and is a major attraction in the Free State province.
It has the largest concentration of sailing boats in the country, as many as moor in all the parts along the coastline.
