The Point Hotel is a four star hotel with 52 spacious, sea facing, en-suite rooms, each with it's own private balcony overlooking the Indian Ocean, from which you can view the majestic passing of the Humpback or Southern right Whales. Facilities in each room include international plug points, MNet and DSTV, remote control ceiling fans, panel heaters, direct dial telephones, radio alarm, hairdryer, digital safe, coffee/tea making facilities and internet access incorporating Wi-Fi hot spot areas located throughout the hotel building. The hotel is paraplegic friendly and all floors are serviced with hydraulic lifts. All floors have surveillance cameras and the hotel has a secure, well-lit parking area. The Lighthouse Restaurant spcializes in Provencal-style Mediterranean cuisine, light meals and individually tailored set menus and buffets for groups. The restaurant has seating for 75 people with a terrace overlooking the Indian Ocean and the stunning views over the sea and rocks give it one of the most dramatic settings in the Garden Route. Our cocktail bar is located off the foyer of the hotel. Conference facilities and equipment cater for upt to 80 delegate's cinema style and 65 delegates in conference style. This facility with it's spectacular views over the Indian Ocean is also an ideal venue for weddings and intimate private dinners. Our new Business Centre accommodates 10 people around a boardroom table and offers computer, printing and internet facilities. A huge tidal pool right in front of the hotel offers safe bathing, whilst surfers can enjoy one of the best surfing venues on the coast line. A 15km walking trail along the coast starts at the hotel and offers spectacular sea views.
