This quaint Bed and Breakfast offers luxury accommodation on one of the oldest farms in Kokstad dating back to around one hundred and fifty years. This picturesque setting is a relaxing getaway for any weary traveller.
We are situated 2 hours from the Southern Berg and 4 hours from the Northern Berg. We are the East Griqualand.

Establishment Details
Summary:
Nestled in the mountains of East Griqualand, The Old Orchard has a charm of its own. Unique in its construction, each room is handmade. The walls are solid log, cyress and cedar and are knitted together forming a character and warmth.
The Executive guestrooms are built onto the water and the others guestrooms are in the gardens. "Boytjies" (brealfast room) is on the water where you can view the bird life and further drink in the beauty of East Griqualands mountains and farmlands.

Property Description:
The farm has its own driving range for all golf enthusiasts as well as a putting green. There is an onsite golfing instructor (for enquiries ask at reception.) There is a swimming pool overlooking the dam which is surrounded by lush green grass with wooden deck chairs. On the dam itself there is fishing available.Bird watching is also a great way of relaxing around the dam. There are 16 units sleeping 22 people. The rooms have their own private en-suite bathrooms ranging from stylish, modern showers, to luxury spa baths.

| In the Executive rooms your have all the facilities such as Tea and coffee, hairdyer, vacuum flask will ice water, biscuits, writing desk, underfloor heating in bathroom, Wall heaters, Electric blankets etc. Breakfast is R85.00 per person and we do not supply dinner however there are resturants in town 4kms away. |
