Property Description:

With three tastefully appointed units to choose from this luxurious guest house offers quality superior accommodation and central location at very competitive rates. Located just three blocks from the village, the house is within easy walking distance from the, restaurants and the famous whale watching paths. Units One and Two offer the option of self-catering or indulging in one of the the houses famous English breakfasts. Each unit has on-site undercover parking. All units have fridges and TV, with coffee and tea making facilities. Panel heaters and hot water bottles in each unit will make up for any alternative weather you may experience while on your visit. We are also close to the golf course and beaches. The large patio can accommodate outdoor living with ease. Barbecue facilities have been provided for the exclusive use of guests. Unit one overlooks the Koi Pond with a view of the scenic mountain range in the background.

Directions From Cape Town: follow the N2 over Sir Lowry’s Pass, past Elgin Apple orchards and Peregrine and Houwhoek Farm Stalls, over dual-carriage Houwhoek Pass at the bottom of which you take the left turnoff from the N2 to HERMANUS on the R43. OR Turnoff the N2 to Strand and meander along this beautiful stretch of Whale coastline on the R44 passing through Gordon’s Bay, Rooiels, Pringle Bay Betty’s Bay and Kleinmond until you reach the T-junction where you turn right to Hermanus on the R43. To The Brown jug Cottage: Drive through Hermanus until you reach the 4 way stop in the main road at the Marine Hotel. Turn left into Lord Roberts, cross Mitchell Street and cross Luyt Street. Proceed take the next road to the right, Musson for a block and half and turn right No 18 Musson Str. From The Garden Route: Drive on the N2 heading towards Cape Town, pass through RIVIERSONDEREND (river without end) and +-8kms further you get a turn off left to RIETPOEL / STANFORD / HERMANUS on the R326. Drive through wheatfields and sheep farms, get to a T-junction at Stanford and turn right to HERMANUS for 20kms. To Brown Jug: Drive through Hermanus until you reach the 4 way stop in the main road at the Marine Hotel. Turn right into Lord Roberts Rd, cross Mitchell and 3rd right into , Musson, Street. Proceed for a block into Musson, Str . The Brown Jug is on the left house, 18.
