Sunbird Lodge is a family run business, emphasizing on good quality & friendly service!
Experience the ambiance of more than 2.5 acres of tropical gardens which give host to a wide variety of birdlife, just relax and let your hosts Samantha and David Lockhart ensure your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Laze by the swimming pool, sit under one of our Lapa’s with a drink from the bar or take in the gardens at night looking at the stars, you can just unwind and let your stress melt away.
Accommodation is available on either a Bed & Breakfast or Self Catering basis. Lunches and evening meals can be provided on request. Choose from one of five rooms on the main house, all with their own private access from the gardens , one of two rooms by the swimming pool or 3 rooms situated together in the garden. All the rooms are either twin or double bedded with an en suite bathroom (either bath and shower or just shower), all have TV's, air conditioning and ceiling fans, fridges and have tea and coffee making facilities. All rooms have their own stoeps with table and chairs.
We also offer excellent braai facilities, a unique African bar, a large swimming pool, secure parking, laundry service, fax and Internet (WIFI) connections. Transfers from Phalaborwa airport can also be arranged for a nominal fee.
Directions to Sunbird Lodge
From the robot and the entrance to the Kruger Park, turn right so Spar is on your left and follow the signs to Sunbird Lodge
OR at the Caltex Garage, turn into Selati Street and turn left into Aalywn Street (just past the Police Station). We are at the bottom of the street on the left hand side.
