Minutes from the majestic Chapman's Peak Drive and the beautiful Hout Bay beach and Harbour area. The Wetlands Nature Reserve is across the road along the upper reaches of the Disa river. Walks up the magnificent Table Mountain are just minutes away.

This is peace and tranquillity at its best. The 1.5 acre estate abounds in oak, fig, pine and blackwood trees.

Property Description:

The newly built luxury two-storey, cottages are lovingly appointed and fully equipped. They each have two double bedrooms bathroom with bath and shower, open plan kitchen and living area with french doors leading on to large stoep where you can sip sundowners enjoy the sun-dappled, north facing aspect or watch the birds and squirrels chase among the trees. All linen and towels are provided but beach towels are not supplied. All the cottages are serviced weekly, towels are changed every four days. Daily servicing can be arranged should you require. There is a swimming pool and braai area in the grounds and ample parking is available next to the cottages. Hout Bay has lots to offer: Safe bathing on beautiful sandy beaches.

Overview	This is a newly refurbished one-bed roomed cottage is part of the old estate, situated in its own private garden with Weber braai (BBQ) area. It is fully equipped: sleeper couch in living area, bathroom with bath and shower, open plan living area, kitchen with fridge-freezer, Salton oven and grill, microwave and electric frying pan.
Bed configuration	Furnished with two single beds and a sleeper couch in the lounge area.

Overview	These cottages are well appointed and fully equipped. They feature two double bedrooms, bathroom with bath and shower, open plan kitchen and living area with French doors leading on to large stoep where you can sip sundowners enjoy the sun-dappled, north facing aspect or watch the birds and squirrels chase among the trees.
Bed configuration	Furnished with a double bed in the air-conditioned master bedroom and twin beds in the second bedroom. In addition each cottage has a sleeper couch in the lounge area. Baby's cots are available upon request.

My wife and I had an excellent time staying in one of the 3 Siloam cottages. It is a beautiful little self-catering cottage with a double bedroom upstairs and a twin downstairs, it's own studio livingroom/kitchen/breakfast bar, and shower-bathroom. We spent a week there in May 2011 and it was very pleasant. There is also a little portable braai outside, which we made use of one evening. Hout Bay is a lovely village near Cape Town, with all the landmarks accessible within short driving distance. The only drawback with the cottage was that the walls were a little too thin and next-door's business intruded slightly. However, that being said, all of the other perks made up for this slight inconvenience. I would definitely recommend this as a place to make your base for a lovely relaxing holiday break.
