Establishment Details - Sea Star Lodge
The lodge is located in de Kelders - a small village at the Atlantic Ocean between Stanford and Gansbaai. Whether you are looking for adrenalin and decide to go on a shark cage diving trip to discover the Great White Sharks as close as possible or if you decide to savour the local wines at the estates in the nearby Stanford Valley - our friendly staff would be glad to assist you with information and make your stay an unforgettable and enjoyable experience.

Sea Star Lodge only offers the highest quality of goose down pillows and duvets. Anti-allergic bedding is also available for your convenience. All rooms are featured by silent panasonic air-condioning units, bar fridge, underfloor heating, heated towel rails and en suite bath with separate shower. For special requests kindly contact the Lodge Management. We are always keen to make your stay a unique and enjoyable experience.

Directions to Sea Star Lodge
Coming from Cape Town:
Take the N2 towards George for ca 80km. Turn left and take the R43 towards Hermanus. Follow the R43 trough Hermanus and Stanford and you’ll reach de Kelders.

Coming from George:
Take the N2 towards Cape Town. Turn left in Riviersonderend and follow the R326 to Stanford. In Stanford turn left into the R43 and follow the road to de Kelders.

In De Kelders:
Take the first entrance into de Kelders on your right and turn left at the first paved crossing (landmark ANLO) into the Hoof Weg (Main Road). Take the second road on your right and turn into Ingang Straat. Sea Star Lodge welcomes you after 200m on your left.

Overview The comfortably appointed Bay View Room is located on the first floor of the Lodge, offering views of the Atlantic and the Hermanus skyline. Elegantly furnished with a lounge chair & coffee table + business desk. 36" LCD screen with DVD player + satellite TV. The bathroom features a deep soaking tub and separate shower. The panoramic sliding door provides direct access to your balcony. Mirrored solar-shield windows allow only views from inside out for your privacy

Overview The room is featured by silent panasonic aircondioning unit, bar fridge, underfloor heating, heated towel rails and en suite bathroom. Soft drinks from the minibar and coffee and tea facilities are complementary.

Overview The Honeymoon Suite features a spacious open plan and a unique corner location with panoramic windows overlooking the Walker Bay and the sandy dunes of the Fynbos Nature Reserve. The Honeymoon Suite occupies the corner positions on the first floor of the Lodge. The living area includes two comfortable lounge chairs with coffee table, a fireplace and an executive desk. The open and freestanding desinger bath allows you to enjoy your stay and to spoil yourself at all times. A 50" plasma screen with DVD player and satellite TV is available in the room. The open luxurious bathroom features a deep soaking tub and a separate open rain shower.

Overview Located in the second floor of the lodge this suite provides the uninterrupted views over the Atlantic and the Walker Bay. The spacious bedroom with the panoramic windows is completed by the elegant furniture and African arts. King size bed with high quality matress. Two lounge chairs with coffee table. Executive desk. 46" LCD screen with DVD player and satellite TV. Refreshments and coffee & tea facilities are available for your convenience. The luxury bath is the main feature of the suite. Equipped with state of the art bath tub, basins, toilet and bidet designed by ALESSI, a GROHE rainshower completes the double shower for your unique bath experience.

Overview The Rooftop Room is unique in being on the top floor of Sea Star Lodge. Guests can enjoy the amazing sea view from their own private 40 square meter roof terrace. The Rooftop Room itself is cosy with a Queen-size bed as well as the bathroom with shower over the bathtub and heated towel rails. The room features a 32’’ LCD screen with Blu Ray DVD player and satellite TV and a small desk with chair.
