Summary:
“Naries” is a Nama word (indigenous people of this region), meaning “place where the reeds grow”. No one is quite sure of the exact location of these reeds, but it is believed to have been in one of the many non-perennial riverbeds to the east of the farmhouse.

We take much pride in offering excellent cuisine (real South African "farm-food from heaven").

On arrival at Naries, you find yourself within spacious and tranquil surroundings; that which only a farm can offer! Naries is a true "Hideaway in Namakwaland".
Property Description:
Our historical Cape-Dutch Manor House offers:
~ 1 Honeymoon Suite with en-suite bath & shower
~ 1 Twin Room (2x ¾ Beds) with en-suite bathroom and shower only.
~ 3 Twin Rooms (2x ¾ Beds) with en-suite bathroom; bath & shower
Our Manor House Accommodation (All 5 Rooms) includes Dinner, Bed & Breakfast.
Our Newly build Economy Room offers:
~ 2 Twin Rooms (2x Single beds each) which can be separately booked. Rooms have en-suite Bathrooms - showers only. Dinner, Bed & Breakfast. Meals are served in the Manor House
Our 3 Newly build Luxurious Namakwa Mountain Suites offers:
~ All En-Suite bath & Shower
~ Dinner & Breakfast are served in our Manor House.

| • Naries offers 1x Family Self Catering Unit which sleeps up to 4 people.
• Fully furnished with kitchenette & Outside Braai area.
• Should you whish not to self-cater; you are welcome to dine in our Manor House Dining Room. Please book 24 hours in advance. (Regrettably no children of age 11 & younger in the Manor House & it’s Dining Room; Self Catering apply).
• All children are most welcome in our Family Self Catering Units. Special Rates apply for children age 5 to 11. No charge for children age 4 & younger. Normal adult rates apply for Children, aged 12 and older.
• A booking requires a minimum of 2 people.

• Each Suite is equipped with a Tea & Coffee Station and a Stocked bar fridge with a variety of Snacks & Drinks.
• All our rates include Breakfast & Dinner in our Manor House Dining Room.
• Child Policy:

- We can accommodate children aged 12 & older, provided that they are willing to occupy a 2nd Unit. Normal adult rates apply.
