We offer lovely sea views, is centrally located, within walking distance to the Onrus-beach and close to supermarkets and restaurants.
Enjoy the best land-based whale watching in the world. In season guests regularly see whales while enjoying breakfast on the front patio. Great beach and mountains walks! This is an ideal base for exploring the many things to do in the area.
Property Description:
The double storey house/cottage sleeps 2-8 guests.
• A cosy open-plan lounge/dining room (equipped with DSTV, VCR, DVD and Radio/CD player) leads out onto the front sea-facing patio and garden.
• Cook up a storm in the fully equipped kitchen with separate laundry including a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.
• The main bedroom downstairs has a double bed and there are two bathrooms downstairs, one with a bath and one with a shower.
• The second bedroom upstairs is a spacious Loft- living room with amazing sea views!
• The loft offers one double bed and 4 single beds (room dividers for privacy) a small lounge area, a TV and a private toilet and basin.
Outside in the garden between the house and the flat is a built-in barbeque and outside dining area with lovely mountain views.
THE SEPARATE FLAT: (sleeps 1-3 guests).
• Outside, on top of the double garage is a spacious airy open - plan loft room with beautiful sea and mountain views!
• It offers a King-size double bed and one single bed, an en-suite bathroom with bath.
• TV with SABC 1, 2, 3 & e-TV and DVD player.
• The open-plan mini kitchenette is fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle and electric frying pan.
• You can view the whales from your bed or sit on the balcony.

How to get there: From Cape Town take the N2, then R43 to Hermanus;turn right at Onrus / Vermont turn-off - at Onrus Trading Post.Turn into Vermont avenue; go strait down towards the sea until you reach a T- junction; turn right into Marine Drive;. Lavender Beach is the third house from the corner 46 MARINE DRIVE.
