Lakeside Lodge is an exclusive eco-retreat on the banks of a magnificent lake in the Wilderness National Park, in the Knysna District of South Africa's beautiful Cape Garden Route region.

There are eight tastefully decorated lake facing rooms, and outdoor activities include canoeing, mountain bikes, tennis, and golf chipping on the lawns.

Our charming garden provides an awesome setting for you to enjoy our scrumptious breakfasts, and our cosy lodgings away from the crowd are a secure base for honeymooners, nature lovers, or adventure seekers.
On our doorstep we have unspoilt golden beaches on the Indian Ocean, fishing, diving, paragliding, hikes, trails and more. And within scenic day drives you can visit the Cango caves and Ostrich Farms, ride the old Steam train via the Lakes, picnic in the Knysna forests.
