Years ago Kaapse Draai used to be a protea nursery and, even though you won't find proteas, the garden retained an air of vibrant richness. Age-old oaks, palms and tropical vegetation line the little mountain stream that winds its way down from the southern slopes of Table Mountain. The garden rambles on into a 'green belt' of undisturbed meadow running through the whole of Constantia.

Directions
M3 via M41
Take M3 South and Exit M41(Plumstead/Constantia/Hout Bay)
At stop sign, turn left into Constantia Main Road.
At the second set of traffic lights, turn right into Brommersvlei.
Continue for approximately 1km.
You will reach a 3 way stop.
Turn left into Southern Cross Drive and after 1,5 km,
Turn right into Glen Avenue.
Follow it to the end. Number 19 is the last house on your left.
M3 via Kirstenbosch Gardens/Rhodes Drive
Take M3 South towards Muizenberg.
Pass University on right hand side.
At first set of robots turn right into Rhodes Drive (towards
Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens & Hout Bay).
After 2.4 kms you get to a t-junction. Turn right towards Hout Bay.
After 3 kms turn left into Southern Cross Drive
After 2 kms turn left into Glen Avenue.
Follow it to the end. Number 19 is the last house on your left.
