A unique safari lodge born from a passion for the African bush. Where peace and tranquility is found just outside the hustle and bustle of the city borders.

The lodge is set within the Letamo Safari Estate in the Cradle of Humankind just outside Krugersdorp. It boasts three luxury tents each individually decorated with a unique African theme. There is the Zulu Tent, Africana Tent & Colonial Tent. Each tent has an en-suite bathroom with a bath & outside shower. There is also the Stone Cottage which is very spacious with a separate lounge and patio area. Lastly is the Nguni Room with a fireplace and large outside patio.

The highlight at Impangele is the chef, Jermaine, who will cook according to your personal tastes. Dinners are exclusive and can be very private or be a social affair with a four course meal accompanied with wine teasers to match each course. Jermaine uses his Cape Malay family background to infuse food with some of his unique trademark dishes.

This intimate lodge is perfect for a weekend getaway, romantic occassion or as a start or end to an African Safari.

Directions to Impangele Safari Lodge

From O.R.Tambo International Airport
(Approx. 1 Hour)
Follow the N12 Johannesburg signs (heading towards East Gate). Take the N3 North off ramp at the N12/N3 interchange.
N3 will eventually become the N1. Stay on the N1 South – Roodepoort. Take the off ramp Beyers Naude – M5.
Turn right over the highway, keep straight on Beyers Naude through Honeydew until you reach the N14 Krugersdorp Highway. Turn left onto the Highway heading towards Krugersdorp. Turn right at the Sasol 4-way robot onto the N14 (Ventersdorp). Keep on going straight on the N14 for about 4km, turn right into Bartlett Road for 4km until you drive into our Gate.

From Johannesburg / Sandton / Fourways (Approximatley 45Min)
Keep straight on Beyers Naude – M5 through Honeydew until you reach the N14 Krugersdorp Highway. Turn left onto Highway heading towards Krugersdorp. Turn right at the Sasol 4-way robot onto the N14 (Ventersdorp). Keep on going straight on the N14 for about 4km, turn right into Bartlett Road for 4km until you drive into our Gate.

From Pretoria (Approximatley 45 Min)
Proceed on the N14 South towards Krugersdorp. Turn right at the Sasol 4-way robot onto the N14 (Ventersdorp). Keep on going straight on the N14 for about 4km. Turn right into Bartlett Road for 4km until you drive into our Gate
