Gateway Guest Lodge is situated in the tranquil suburb of Somerset Park, a mere 3km from main swimming beaches, near the friendly town of Umhlanga Rocks on the Sugar Coast of Kwa-Zulu Natal. 		The place is beautiful with a wonderful ladscape. 1.5km from the Gateway Mall and the beach. Easy access to the N2 Highway. 17km from the new King Shaka International Airport.

		Gateway exceeded my expectations. Often pictures give a glorified view of establishments, but Gateway was as clean and spacious as appears. Meeting and being hosted by Diane was a pleasure. Everyone I have spoken to about the place is amazed at the reasonable cost for accommodation offered at Gateway Guest Lodge. My family felt at home, safe and comfortable throughout our 5 day stay. We will definately return and keep on recommending it to friends.

		Gateway Guest Lodge, the hostess Diane and her helpers were fantastic! I just can't find the right words to describe the friendliness & the warm reception we got on our arrival and of course, the send off on our departure. The cleanliness of the place from the entrance to our rooms through to the kitchen, living room, bedrooms & the bathrooms is out of this world. During our 4 day stay, we were treated like royalty. I give Gateway Guest Lodge a rating of 5 out of 5 !!

		The place was neat and clean. Just perfect and had all that was needed. Location is great for Durban/Umhlanga. The host was great and very accommodating. We will definitely make use of this lodge on our visits to Durban.
