An amphitheatre of deep forest valleys - rustic casual luxury cottages…with jacuzzi/hydro spa baths and tub`s...is a honeymoon and get-away delight. all provided for your viewing pleasure at Forest Valley. GLORY DAWN & WILD IRIS have the highest demand and usually get booked first. They are tree-top units with views from the jacuzzi and cottage! EARTH ROSE cottage has a nice big jacuzzi tub perfect for two, with views over the forest...wine, BBQ, rejuvenate, in the peace and quiet where the Almighty's creation can be seen and experienced.

All cottages are safe and VERY private, have wood burning fireplaces, DSTV, CD players and classy, fully equipped kitchens for self-catering/hammocks and have the luxury of having a service midway on you stay..by long serving honest HOUSEKEEPERS/staff.. beds made, dishes washed, Jacuzzi/webbers/fireplaces are cleaned daily cleaned and freshened..DAILY HOUSEKEEPING IS REALLY COOL WHEN ON HOLIDAY!a small extra charge if you want them daily...so you can relax and almost won't have to do any chores? All cottages have "VIEW" JACUZZI/HYDRO SPA'S in them, LAVENDER EDGE an outside view shower!(AND IT'S RGT IN THE FOREST....AND VIEW BATH OVERLOOKING THE WILDS!

From Cape Town stay on the N2, George/Wilderness/Sedgefield/30km PASS Buffalo Bay NEXT LEFT TURN and before going down the hill into Knysna, take the Rheenendal Road turnoff on your left. Drive for 6 kms and on the right will see our sign, TAKE THE FURTHEREST DRIVE FROM YOU...take the reception sign 300m up to the right.
From Port Elizabeth side, drive straight through Knysna, around the lagoon and over the white bridge, continue up the hill, and on the right, turn at the Rheenendal sign, drive for 6kms and see our sign on the right.

Overview EARTH ROSE has got a nice BIG Jacuzzi/hydro tub in it for x2, with great features,the Jacuzzi/spa which overlooks an AMPHITHEATER of deep forest valleys, has bubble and bath salts and bath goodies(TO USE), port or champayne for honeymooners as a package and on request and tea&coffee supplied on arrival. The cottage is equipped with a doublesize bed, quality bed linens supplied..it has another bedroom with x2 single beds which can be used as a 4* closet..if 2(a couple)! There is a fireplace in the cottage 50kg wood in winter on the deck to buy, for the fireplace, if chills DSTV,CD player. it also has a shower, Private deck with overlooking the BEST VIEWS IN THE WORLD!..has a BBQ braai...bring some briquettes and fireliters
Bed configuration The main bedroom has a double bed and towles/small chocs.. and overlooks the views and the JACUZZI TUB, it has crisp bedding.. The second bedroom has twin beds..
Glory Dawn Tree-Top Cottage,  1 bedroom, sleeps 2
Overview The most popular with views of an Amphitheater of deep FOREST VALLEYS AND MOUNTAINS from the cottage..the JACUZZI/HYDRO SPA bubbling..sipping champayne, with a cozy fire going(if chills)..and the Webber BBQ sizzling on the deck 4-5m in the tree-tops..BLISS! 50kg of firewood is on the deck to buy for the fireplace, if it’s chills? Rose petals and small chocolates on the bed. Bath pamper goodies, bubbles and salts, candles to use. If you could bring a Bag of briquettes for the webber on the deck...to braai/BBQ The daily housekeeping…where staff come in..from 10/11am..midway on your stay and Make beds/wash dishes/topp up/clean webbers and fireplace daily(if used)/sort and freshen. So you can really relax and de-stress, while you are here, plan some things to do and have some fun.
Bed configuration There is a hammock on the deck..if you like?..and a plush BIG queensize bed with crisp quality bedding..warmed by the elec blanket(in winter)and cooled with a ceiling fan if hot?..and draped with a mosquito net..if needed?
Lavender Edge - Two bedroom,  2 bedrooms, sleeps 4
Overview A Beautiful cottage with a large deck and magnificent views of the wilds and mountains, surrounding Knysna . 2 Bedrooms per cottage, 1 double bed and 2 single beds..FOR COUPLES USE THE OTHER ROOM AS A 4* CLOSET TO PACK YOUR STUFF! Open-plan kitchen/dining/lounge...a big deck WITH DINING TABLE/hammock... LAVENDER EDGE has a veiw bath with BIG glass windows and outside view shower..and two bathrooms..
Bed configuration 1 Double bed and 2 Single beds per cottage..with quality bedding and towles which are changed often..the bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and outside view shower..an electric blanket will warm you..if the cozy fire place doesn't?..and has a double sleeper couch in it for x2 exrtas..if needed?
Sandstone..A nice Plush Cottage,  1 bedroom, sleeps 2
Overview SANDSTONE has the same views from the JACUZZI/spa bath/COTTAGE as the others , but I think a little more private..and has many more 4**** features than the others ..ALL COTTAGES ARE WORLD CLASS AND HAVE ABSOLUTELY UNIQUE FEATURES a deposit will secure your booking... ... further the cottages have goodies like champaynet, small choc's, bubble bath & salts/creams(TO USE!),tea/coffee,40kg basket of firewood (if chilly?)..and are serviced daily..Webbers/fireplace cleaned, beds made, dishes washed etc?the bedding and towels and ALL accessories are quality, these places are almost 4****..so things are very cool.
Bed configuration A huge x4 poster bed..with crisp quality bedding is the call and it has a sleeper in it or you can borrow a camp cot?..if on HONEYMOON and the little un is already here?
Wild Iris Tree-Top Cottage,  1 bedroom, sleeps 2
Overview This WORLD CLASS COTTAGE has a JACUZZI/HYDRO SPA in it opening to gorgeous views..rgt on the edge, enclosed in glass 4-5m in the trees...has a deck/hammock and Weber BBQ..OR YOU CAN SLOTH IN THE HAMMOCK!
Bed configuration A BIG plush QUEENSIZE bed with quality bedding, elec blanket and mosquito net..is warmed by a cozy fire if chills. The bed is made daily by our service staff..cool hey!

Cottage was in a lovely setting & nicely decorated, comfortable, spacious and cosy with the open fire place. The kitchen was also well kitted out with all utensils and cooking equipment.
