Close to all tourist amenities with direct routes to the Big Hole and some Anglo-Boer War sites. A selection of excellent restaurants within easy distance or a delivery service which caters for all tastes if you feel like “staying in”. Tour guides can be arranged as well as helicopter game viewing and bird guides.

Cool off in the pool, or laze on the verandah and watch our excellent birdlife (up to 41 species spotted) and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the bushveld, although now situated in the suburbs. Enjoy a sundowner and watch the magnificent sunset and the indigenous Acacia (Thorn) trees which surround us.

Garden furniture is placed in various parts of the garden to enable guests to enjoy the views. All garden rooms are en- suite with TV, fans, air-conditioners, heaters and electric blankets. Self-catering double rooms as well as 2 single rooms and a family suite. Each room private with own entrance and verandahs leading out into the garden. Complimentary toiletries in all the bathrooms.
Directions to Five Acres Guest House
From Cape Town, turn off the N12 at first traffic lights, we are 1km from the traffic lights on left hand side. From Bloemfontein, drive in past the airport, over 2 rail bridges, turn left at the Diamond Pavilion Mall into MacDougall Street, continue for 2km and we are on the left hand side. From Johannesburg, follow signs showing Cape Town. Continue through town, go past Formula One Hotel and turn right at the second robot. We are 1km from the robot on the left hand side.
