1. FROM THE CITY.
STANGER ST. Head N.for 2,3kms. Left lane, glide off at ARGYLE ROAD. M17. Head up Argyle Road for 2,3kms. (Road name changes to SPRINGFIELD ROAD, same road) continue up hill until reach ESSENWOOD ROAD. Turn left and 200m. on left hand side is ESSENWOOD HOUSE No: 630. Press the bell, gates will open, drive in.
2. FROM PIETERMARITZBURG/JO’BURG ON FREEWAY N 3.
Head towards City. Sign reads Exit 3. Tollgate, Berea. Get into left hand lane and glide off. Traffic lights at top of hill about 150m. after gliding off. Carry straight across Ridge Road in left hand lane at these lights. At 2nd. set of lights turn left into Essenwood Road. 2,4kms along Essenwood, after 6th. set of lights is Essenwood House No.630 on right hand side. Press bell, gates open.
3. FROM AIRPORT OR SOUTH COAST ON N2.
Head for Durban, City on M4 for 12kms after leaving (or passing) airport
Glide off at EXIT 2.
Sign reads: NORTH COAST, BEREA, BEACHES, P’MARITZBURG
Note: Exit 2 is shortly after Exit 3, so get into left hand lane after passing Exit 3.
Glide off left into Moore Road. Head up Moore Road for 1,8 kms. Turn right into Manning Road at lights. Cross freeway, name changes to Essenwood Road (same road). After 6th. Set of lights, on right hand side is Essenwood House. No.630. Press bell, gates open, enter.
4. FROM NORTH COAST via N2 OUTER RING ROAD.
Approaching N3 interchange keep in left hand lane and glide off left. Head for DURBAN AND CITY. Keep to left hand lane until EXIT 3. TOLLGATE, BEREA. follow directions in 2* above.
5. FROM NORTH COAST via UMHLANGA ROCKS.
After passing swimming stadium on right hand side, get into right hand lane. At first set of lights turn right into ARGYLE ROAD. Sign reads: BEREA M17 W. Follow instructions from 1* above.
