Summary:

Tucked quietly into the mountainside, this establishment provides 5 superb and spacious self-catering apartments overlooking the whole of False Bay. Watch the whales play on your doorstep in season and take a short stroll down to one of the safest swimming beaches in Cape Town and various shops. Three of the apartments have beautiful little gardens with small plunge pools. The other two have spacious,covered terraces. All apartments have unsurpassed views of False Bay. Each apartment is tastefully furnished.

Theme:

The picturesque village of Fish Hoek boasts one of Cape Town's most beautiful swimming beaches. With colourful, original Victorian bathing boxes providing a jaunty atmosphere, this beach also sports a children's playground, a refreshment kiosk, restaurant and secure parking. Fish Hoek is definitely a destination if you're looking for holiday fun.

Views:

These apartments have magnificent views over the beach and False Bay across the sea to the mountains on the other side. Whales are seen virtually a stones throw away along the entire shoreline from as early as July
to the end on November.

Property Description:

Garden terrace units have a small plunge pool on the sea facing garden, whilst upper terrace units offer a large covered balcony directly overlooking the bay. Garden
and balcony furniture is provided for your enjoyment. Barbeque facilities by arrangement.

Directions to Echo Terrace

In essence you will take the N2 towards Cape Town from the airport, follow it for approximately 12km and branch off left and follow the M3 Southbound (signposted on the N2). Follow the M3 south for approximately 14 km to the end and then filter left onto Steenberg Road, follow the dual carriageway for approximately 1 km then turn right at the traffic light (south) onto the Main Road ( M4 ) and keep on that for approximately 10km to Fish Hoek and then use the CapeStay map.

Go through the main street in Fish Hoek and keep left (towards Simonstown) at the traffic circle at the end of the main road. After approximately 1 km turn right at the traffic light (Hillside Road to Highway and Echo Road) then 30m later turn left, go straight up Highway for 200m. You will clearly see the Echo Road sign ahead of you and the Echo Terrace sign, pointing to the left. Go down this driveway to the left, push the call button for No 6 and we will open the green security gate. I would appreciate an estimated time of arrival before your visit so that we are here to meet you.

Apartments 1 to 5, 5 bedrooms, sleeps 4

Overview	Each apartment is magnificently located with direct views over the bay, with a view across the bay to Kalk Bay and a panorama which extends from the Fish Hoek beach (a five minute walk along the famous catwalk) and Cape Hangklip. Each apartment has either a covered terrace or a grassed terrace with small feature pool all as featured on our website echoterrace. The apartments are very tastefully furnished with top quality bedding and percale linen. To add to the charm each apartment is built on split levels to maximize your view and contact with the sea. Each apartment has 2 bedrooms each with own bathroom. Kitchens are fully equipped including microwaves, and dishwashers. Each apartment has its own washing machine and tumble drier. DSTV is provided in each unit The units are amazingly spacious ranging in size from 100 to 130m2. A garage is provided for each apartment. The apartments have their own entrance leading off the main courtyard and the main entrance security gate is controlled with a remote control clicker provided to each guest group. Gas grill braai facilities provided to each unit. Apartments are serviced daily except Sunday. Well behaved children over 10 years of age only (due to pools and terraces) We can provide a cot and high chair for an infant.
Bed configuration	The front sea facing bedroom is furnished with a queen-sized double bed and the second bedroom has two singles.

The views are to 'die for', Brian and Renee are so helpful, the accommodation was one of the best we have seen. We love the area of Fish Hoek since it is quieter than Cape Town, yet very accessible and the beach is great. We will definitely go back, soon...
