Establishment Details - Doonside Holiday Flats
Doonside Holiday Flats consists of two block of flats located in Doonside, just 75 metres from the beach. Each block consists of four, two bedroom flats and all the flats are owned by us and operated as holiday flats.
We supply all bed linen, dish towels, etc, but we do not supply bath and beach towels so please remember to bring these with you. The flats are serviced Monday to Friday and on most weekends. The flats are Not Wheelchair friendly.
The flats are very secure and vehicle parking is within the grounds of the flats usually close to your flat. We have two very comfortable braai areas and a swimming pool.
The flats face southwards and overlook the lagoon of the Little Amanzimtoti River and the beach towards Warner Beach. From the flats, the beach is a short walk of about 75 metres. Life Savers are on duty from 8am to 4pm, it is a geat swimming beach and is fully equipped with shark-nets, life-guards, helicopter rescue, tidal pool, etc.
Surf and rock fishing is highly rated and members of Warner Beach Ski Boat Club launch their skiboats from the lagoon. The deep-sea fishing enthusiast can charter a ride at the club for some real deep-sea action. This beach is often used for local and international surfing events and fishing competitions.
There are also a number of Golf Courses in the area and the Di'Vine Driving Range & Restaurant is a seven minute drive away. The new Galleria Shopping Mall is also Seven Minutes drive away and within are many Restaurants, Movie Theaters, Family Games Centres, a Skating Rink and shops of all kinds to browse through.

Directions to Doonside Holiday Flats
From the N3 Durban / Jhb Highway.

Pass through the Marion Hill Toll Plaza, this is the last Toll Plaza to Durban.
Immediately after the Pavilion Shopping Centre, take the N-2 South Coast Offramp.
Pass Amanzimtoti and go over the Amanzimtoti River bridge.
At the top of the hill, take the Seadoone off-ramp.
At the Robots, turn Left into Seadoone Road.
At the next Robots turn Left into Beachway Road.
Go over the Railway Line Bridge to the T-junction.
Turn Right at the T-junction.
Follow the road around towards the Beach.
After the sharp left turn the flats are on the left.
Pass the flats and turn Left into Lagoon Road.
And then immediate left again into the driveway of the flats.
(The Entrance to the flats is in Lagoon Road).

Self-Catering Flat,  2 bedrooms, sleeps 5
Overview Each flat consists of a large lounge/dining room, two bedrooms, a full bathroom equiped with a bath and a shower, and a fully equipped kitchen with stove with a thermofan oven and a microwave. The lounge/dining room area is very spacious and equipped with TV & DSTV (DSTV is Optional). The two bedrooms are spacious, carpeted and comfortable with quality beds, linen, and built-in cupboards. Parking is secure and close to your flat and we have a swimming pool and braai area on the premises. Our flats have limited beach & sea views. Our beach is about 100metres from our gates and is the main Doonside Swimming Beach. It is equipped with shark nets, life guards, etc.
Bed configuration Both Bedrooms are equipped with two comfortable three quarter size beds. Sleeping up to four Guests. In some of the flats we are able to place a fifth bed.

If the world had more people like Doug and Kathy Isherwood, I doubt humanity would need to stress about the hereafter. They and their 2 children couldn't have been kinder or done more for us. We shall return to Doonside Holiday Flats.
