Establishment Details - Devonvale Golf Lodge
We can accommodate 78 Guests in the Lodge and 40 in Houses on the Golf Estate There are 30 self-catering apartments varying in size - Ground floor apartments lead out onto the garden / pool area while the first floor units have balconies facing the Simonsberg Mountains to the east or sunsets to the west. The apartments have either one or two bedrooms (twin or double bed), kitchenette, lounge/dining area with A/C in the living area. There are braai facilities available for guests to use on those idyllic summer evenings!
The Hotel rooms are for those business travellers who just need a spot to sleep and go. We now have a 20m pool and deck with braai facilities for use by the Lodge Guests and Home Owners
Our Estate houses are all 2 bedrooms - with the sleeping upstairs and the living area downstairs. - We have just finished 3 luxury houses next to the Golf Lodge for upmarket living - they sleep either 2 or 4 in 2 bedrooms upstairs Guests are welcome to make use of the Golf Club facilities such as Driving Range, Putting Area, Halfway House, Bar and Restaurant. Breakfast and Meals are served daily in the Club House Lounge. Guests staying in the Golf Lodge get a discount on the Green Fees

GOLF COURSE
The Devonvale Golf and Wine Estate is set in a natural undulating valley in the heart of the Stellenbosch winelands. Our location, on the North facing slopes of the Devon Valley, allows for wonderful mountain and vineyard views. The scenery is further enhanced by the abundance of established trees throughout the course. We pride ourselves in being the only golf course which can boast a Arboretum and have over 45 tree and plant species marked out across the course.
Devonvale has often been compared to that of a nature reserve, due to the uninterrupted peace and tranquillity, and enriched with plenty bird life all around on the course and water features.

RESTAURANT
Devonvale Restaurant is well situated with a relaxed ambiance and an all-encompassing view of the golf course and surrounding vineyards. The restaurant can entertain up to 80 guests and offers different seating styles to suit your needs; relaxing on the comfy couches, enjoying the scenery on the wrap around balcony or inside at the dining area. Warm up this winter in front of the fireplace or enjoy the pub feeling at the bar, while watching your favourite game on the telly!
Meals from our diverse menu are freshly prepared and together with the friendly service, we will ensure that your time is well spent. Whether you need assistance in your wine selection or simply a sample of our house wine, Provoyeur, no request is too large to handle. The friendly, skilled personnel are quick and competent to handle your business lunches, when time is of the essence.
The highlight of the month is most definitely our Sunday Lunch, an event not to be missed.

CONFERENCE & WEDDING
The Blumberg Room (160m²)
The Blumberg Room has recently been refurbished and its new look has modernised and brightened up the ambiance of the venue. Its shape and size make it especially suited for the occasion with enough room for private tea/coffee breaks inside the venue. A large, North facing balcony, protected by the summer South Easter breeze, allows for breaks in the sunlight to revive delegates and an opportunity to stretch the legs during the day. One can also enjoy views over the golf course and take in the surrounds, after all you’re in the Winelands!.
The Blumberg Room was designed according to the new age of technology with a PA system including a lapel and a hand-held microphone, wireless internet access, air-conditioning, remote controlled screen and multiple power points along the carpeted floors for up to 40 laptops.
The Indaba Room (280m²)
The Indaba Room is our largest conference room and has a capacity for up to 180 delegates. The room has a rustic feel due to the open trusses which reveal the rich mahogany varnished woodwork and natural under roof ceiling acoustic boards. There are also four French doors leading on to a private patio, braai area and gardens for refreshments and tea breaks. One also enjoys the feeling of being in the winelands and the golf course’s top nine holes and practise area are visible from the patio.
The Indaba Room is well ventilated and spacious and boasts a large screen, PA system with hand-held microphone, as well as wireless internet access.
Wedding & Events
Our wedding package is designed for you, the bridal couple, so that you are able to enjoy a hassle-free time, while planning your wedding, which we understand to be one of the most important days in a marriage.
Devonvale provides the idyllic setting for your wedding reception and certainly provides friendly and professional service.
We are able to do Wedding Ceremonies in our garden gazebo; it makes a perfect setting for the exchanging of vows.
The Indaba Room, with the wooden dance floor and high roof structure, offers the potential for a glittering ball.
Our executive Chef has created an amazing menu range, from plated 4-course meals and buffet menus that can be served at the perfect time, whether it be a morning or evening wedding.

N1 from Cape Town
• Exit 39 - R304 to Stellenbosch
• At the stop sign turn right towards Stellenbosch
• Drive 7km at Traffic lights turn right towards Bottelary Road (M23)
• Drive 1km and turn left into Devonvale (Blumberg Drive)
N2 from Cape Town
• Take the Baden Powell exit #33 (R310)
• At T-junction turn left towards Stellenbosch
• Drive 10km and at T-junction (past Spier), turn right towards Stellenbosch
• At 3rd traffic lights, follow the road as it bends left into Adam Tas Road (past the train station)
• At the second set of traffic lights turn left into Bird Street (R304 direction Cape Town and N1)
• Stay on the R304, and once out of Stellenbosch (over the bridge and past Khyamandi) drive 8km, past the petrol station and at the traffic lights turn left into Bottelary Road (M23)
• Drive 1km and turn left into Devonvale (Blumberg Drive)
N1 from Paarl
• Take the exit for the R44 towards Stellenbosch
• At the T-junction turn left towards Stellenbosch (past Butterfly World)
• At the 4-way stop, continue straight and approx 8km (Pass Pot Belly Pantry and restaurant on your right, Delvera Estate)
• Turn right into Kromme Rhee Road (Slayley Wine Estate will be on the right hand-side corner)
• Drive approx 3km (drive over railway line - careful as there are no booms)
• At the traffic lights, continue straight for 1km and turn left into Devonvale (Blumberg Drive)
