The Lodge is owner driven and Boy and Marianne will do their best to ensure that you have a good stay. The 4 star rooms are on suite and good value for money. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained. The Lodge is surrounded by mountains and zebras, spring buck,bless buck and kudu wander on the grass near your room. The original building of the old mill is now a beautiful a la cart restaurant, with the mill still inside. To overnight in this safe area, is a special bonus for guests.

Summary:
This comfortable accommodation is situated in the beautiful Schoemanspoort, halfway between Oudtshoorn and the world famous Cango Caves on the R328. About 3000 ostriches are raised on the farm, from one day old to three months, between August and May. The Lodge is near the Caves and close to the Cango ostrich farm. The Swartberg pass is the most beautiful pass in Africa with the best sandstone formations in the world, and a must to be seen.The pass is only 20km. from the Lodge and 80 km. from Prince Albert.

Our facilities consist of two family rooms and 40 comfortable on suite rooms with aircon, roof fans, fridge and tea and coffee facilities. There are two sparkling pools and big gardens to wander around. Enjoy the mountains,plants, birds, animals and game.
