		I rate the house we lived in a 4 because we did not get the house we paid for and the pool area was not neat and tidy where we lived in. The establishment's response: We feel the guest was given an exceptional offer. It was their honeymoon and we offered the privacy and luxury of an entire house rather than merely a room within a house as per the booking.

		I took my family for their first holiday in Cape Town, and were blown away by the hospitality from Marcus and his team. This truly was the best holiday experience. The best part car hire at a reasonable price. Thanks again Marcus, we will be back next year, especially for Nyami's perfectly fried eggs.

		The staff was very friendly, the establishment is in a safe environment, I can still stay there some other time. Homely environment however I still think they can still improve on privacy. The establishment needs some maintenance or major refurbishment, it would be nice if the owners can inset tv sets in each room, the improvements will obviously increase the tarrifs The establishment's response: I don't know, what maintenance he meant, but we're busy now in low season with the usual maintenance one cannot do in high season (painting, etc). 		My husband and I stayed at Camelthorn Lodge in March 2011- very short stay. We will return anytime. Marcus and his team made us feel at home away from home. Beautiful homely place with amazing views of both the sea and Table Mountain. Great value for money.

		The place is very clean and has a good vibe, the staff is welcoming. Marcus is a polite helpful man. Thank you so much for your hospitality, the location is ideal just a few minutes walk from the buzzing bars and trendy beaches but still in a calm area overlooking a stunning view. I travel alot, i have been to many guest houses but Camelthorn Lodge is my favourite.

		Lovely views front and back a litttle too far out of the town for us. Atmosphere very laid back and Marcus and staff most helpful when around. On the whole reasonable value for money. Depends what you want as a base; OK as long as you have a car, but facilities apart from wireless internet fairly basic.

		The place is peaceful with spectacular views, Marcus and the staff go out of their way to make you feel at home. We had an exceptionally great time staying at this establishment and I would recommend it to anyone looking for peace and tranquillity in Cape Town. Not to mention how centrally located the place is.

		We stayed during the world cup and it is a fantastic place to stay. Made some great friends, Marcus was the perfect host and not do enough for us. He made us ruly feel at home, looked forward to breakfasts every morning which was made fresh each day. Would love to return in the future.

		Thank you for a great time! Must say my girlfriend and i were so impressed with the Lodge, location, views and extremely good service provided! Oh and not to forget the awesome breakfast too.... that just put the cherry on the top! Thank you for allowing us to stay in the "sea view" room that was really nice of you, the room was nice and cosy and has some stunning views too.... Need to let everyone know how impressed i was with the great service :-) Will definately make a point of booking in again!

		The accommodation is excellent. Had a great sea view room and didn't know that a sunset could be that perfect. It's the perfect place to be intimate with someone you love or rekindle that flame. I did not overnight, just stayed for the day. I missed the breakfast this time but am sure to do it next time around. Samantha said it was memorable and missed the place when I asked what she thought of it. She asked," when are we going back there?" Well done Marcus, thanks for being flexible with the arrangement.

		Although we were in a little room with a small bed and the shower facilities were next door(not en-suite), we had a lovely few days as Marcus's guests. Breakfast was a very sociable and cosmopolitan affair, all guests at a big dining room table together and one morning, too wet to rush out we sat and drank coffee and chatted until after 11 am.The house was comfortable. Nyammi (is that the correct spelling?) is an asset to the business and we will return next time we are in the Cape.

		Marcus made us feel special and was a great host and nothing too much trouble above and beyond the call of duty, day or night, if we wanted it, but he left us alone when we wanted privacy. The accommodation was in great condition, clean and well presented and kept that way for the duration of our stay, I would have no hesitation in recommending Marcus and his accommodation to anyone. My only disappointment was the weather, it could have been better. if you can fix that one you get 10 out of 5 !

		A truly beautiful setting with both mountains & sea view and a gorgeous interior to match. We were delighted with Camelthorn Lodge, the facilities (including car hire at just a minutes notice!) and the friendly atmosphere. Marcus was extremely helpful and was a fountain of knowledge for local activities, restaurants & activities. We will definitely stay at Camelthorn Lodge next time we visit Camps Bay and are recommending it to our friends & family!
