It is a place of peace and tranquility where one can relax and enjoy spectacular sunsets whilst listening to the Guinea Fowl as they wander through the garden.

This magnificent property is also available for both formal and informal functions as well as a great location for film and commercial shoots.

Directions Coming from the airport: N2 highway and follow the signs City/Cape Town. Stay on the N2 following the signs Sea Point/Waterfront. At the traffic lights (height of the waterfront) carry on straight up Buitengracht Street Follow the signs Camps Bay/Table Mountain Cablecar. Stay on Buitengracht Street which becomes Kloof Nek Road. Drive around the circle at the top of the mountain and go down on Camps Bay Drive Turn left into Fiskaal Road, the third road off Camps Bay Drive. Where Fiskaal Road splits, stay right Camelthorn Lodge is right on the corner, right hand side, no 4, Chas Booth Avenue.

Breakfast was a very sociable and cosmopolitan affair, all guests at a big dining room table together and one morning, too wet to rush out we sat and drank coffee and chatted until after 11 am.The house was comfortable. Nyammi (is that the correct spelling?) is an asset to the business and we will return next time we are in the Cape. The accommodation was in great condition, clean and well presented and kept that way for the duration of our stay, I would have no hesitation in recommending Marcus and his accommodation to anyone.
