Establishment Details
Bamboo is a haven of colonial tranquility in a lush indigenous garden filled with the sound of birds and trickling water. Our beautifully decorated garden rooms all have tea and coffee making facilities, flat screen TV's with DSTV, ipod docking clock radios, ceiling fans, bar fridges and are secluded with separate entrances and private balconies so that guests can be as private or sociable as they wish to be. A light continental breakfast can be served either on the guests own balconies or at the poolside Boma where a heartier option is also on offer.

Directions
From Knysna town centre take the Leisure Isle, Heads turn off called George Rex Drive. After the traffic lights take second left into Howard Street, it's signed for Hunter's Village and Hunter's Home, continue along until just passed the Knysna Golf Course Club House where Howard Street veers left Bolton Street in straight ahead. Just after the second speed bump we are on the right.

A peaceful haven with well developed gardens and stylish themed rooms. The hospitality from Jayne is outstanding and her breakfasts are out of this world..........home made muesli, freshly baked muffins and excellent coffee accompany the full English breakfast.
We stayed three nights and were sorry to have to move on as we were made to feel so welcomed and valued by the friendly staff. This place is a little gem...........don't miss it

We had a fantastic stay at Bamboo. They upgraded us to a larger room to be
more comfortable as we had our daughter with us, free of charge. The
hospitality was great and the friendliness and interaction with our daughter
was excellent. The surrounding was beautiful with the lush's forest type
garden and to top it all breakfast was great the next morning. Thanks for a
wonderful stay. Will recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

The lady of the house was extremely helpful in giving us tips on what to do and reserving tables for us for dinner (especially in the holiday season) this is an excellent extra service. Cosy rooms. Nice breakfast. A place you feel at home in.
