Situated in Chartwell, north of Johannesburg, just minutes away from the up-market Fourways suburb and set in a superb indigenous garden between aloes and acacia trees, Aquanzi Lodge offers comfortable and luxurious bed & breakfast and self-catering accommodation to both tourists and corporates.
Privately owned and family-run, we take pride in offering all guests a superior service.
The lodge is well located for those who seek a peaceful, unique and elegant African country environment, surrounded by an abundance of birdlife yet require easy access to Bryanston, Sandton, Midrand, Rivonia, Lanseria, Pretoria and Johannesburg. A luxurious African theme and ambience inspired by natural surroundings and indigenous elements is felt throughout the Lodge.
All chalets are thatched and free standing and overlook a sparkling saltwater pool with beach sand and loungers.
Stylish and elegantly decorated with a strong African influence, all chalets are equipped with en suite bathrooms with a large shower, hairdryer, TV with M-Net and satellite channels, a desk, personal wall safe, a fully equipped kitchenette with all cooking utensils required, as well as ceiling fans and under floor heating to provide maximum comfort. Furthermore each chalet has its own private patio with barbeque (BBQ) facilities for you to relax and enjoy the night sounds of Africa.
Our newest addition is 2 larger, exclusive Executive Suites, with a separate bedroom and en suite bathroom, a fully equipped kitchenette and a spacious comfortable lounge area, with under floor heating and air-conditioning throughout. All features found in the superior Chalets are likewise found in the Executive Suites.
In addition we offer guests secure and ample parking, 24 hour security as well as an affordable laundry service. Linen and towels are provided to all guests.
We serve a scrumptious English or Continental breakfast.
Special long term rates are available to guests staying on a monthly basis and longer periods of time.
The Dive Centre, situated at the lodge, may entice you to participate in a dive course or to simply enjoy a beverage or one of our delicious sandwiches on the veranda, while enjoying the African sunset.
Set in a peaceful African country setting, Aquanzi Lodge also offers a conference and events venue able to host up to 30 people.
We tailor make packages to suit your requirements, should it be for a meeting, a conference or a simple get together.

Directions to Aquanzi Lodge & Dive Centre
From OR Tambo International airport take the R 24 towards Johannesburg.
After approximately 12 km you will see a highway interchange. Please follow the pointers N1 - N3 Roodepoort.
Drive along this highway for approximately 25 km till you see the exit marked William Nicol Drive.
Turn right into William Nicol Drive. Carry on straight for approx. 4 km till you see a pointer saying Witkoppen Road, turn left here.
At the first robot, approximately 400 m turn right into Cedar Avenue.
Follow this road for 7 km till you see the sign Aquanzi Lodge on your left hand side, just before going down a dip.
Turn right into Spencer Road and follow the signs to Aquanzi Lodge.
