Anchor's Rest has everything to offer the traveller(No Children under 10), walking distance to restaurants, beaches and shopping...Anchor's Rest was one of five finalists in South Africa in the AA Travel Guides/American Express Accommodation Awards in the category "Guest House Style - Small" for 2010.We were also given a special award called a "Steady Star" which is given to Guest Houses that have stood out as being exceptional in one way or another. The AA's Steady Stars are classed as being a shining example of establishments that never change, who remain consistent in their dedication to presenting the very best of hospitality, time and time again.
