The AmaKhosi Guesthouse is located just one hour drive from Cape Town - International Airport in Hermanus-Sandbaai. We are a 5min drive from town center and a 300m walk away from the beach, providing you with the earned recreational escape from the daily hustle and bustle. Sandbaai beach offers safe swimming at low tide and has several rock pools and coves - popular for swimming and snorkeling.
Our lovely garden with its indigenous flora and a cosy swimming pool invite you to stay and relax. There is a cozy lounge with fireplace and dolby surround TV, a large breakfast area with honesty bar and a patio outside the breakfast room for your convenience.
Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere at the swimming pool and our spacious rooms with private bathrooms and balconies with views to the mountains, sea or gardens. Take a sundowner on your balcony while you listen to the roar of the ocean and the whisper of the mountains.
Each of our newly renovated rooms reflects a unique character and charm and is fully appointed with everything you would expect of luxury accommodation. Directions to AmaKhosi Guesthouse
From Cape Town:
Take the N2 from Cape Town towards George (45km from Somerset West to Botriver).
Pass over Sir Lowry's Pass. Drive straight on. After about +/- 20 minutes you will pass Grabouw and over the Houw Hoek Pass. As you come down this pass Botriver will be on your left hand side and shortly after you will see a turn off to Hermanus R43 to your left. Take this off ramp and carry on straight along the R43 to Hermanus. You will pass the Kleinmond turn off to your right. Pass Fisherhaven, Hawston, Vermont and Onrus turnoffs.
At the Sandbaai / Hemel en Aarde traffic lights, turn right towards the sea. Continue until you come to the first stop street. Turn right into Long Street. Continue further until the first stop street.
AmaKhosi Guesthouse is on your right hand side, 17 Long Street.
