This well-appointed guest house has been awarded a 3 star grading by the South African Tourism Board and has also been endorsed as “Highly Recommended” by the AA Travel Guide. All suites are comfortable and self contained with a mini kitchenette and en-suite bathroom. Rooms are serviced daily and offer free Internet access, TV’s, Satellite Decoders and DVD facilities. A delicious breakfast is served each morning in the dining room.
Algoa Guest House is only 200 meters from the beach and is in close proximity to the Boardwalk Casino, NMMU university, Humewood Golf Course, restaurants and less than a 10 minute drive from the airport.
Our guest house has 8 comfortable double suites (four with twin single beds and four with double beds). A few of the suites offer sleeper couches for travellers with children. All suites have their own private entrances and patio area.

Directions when driving into Port Elizabeth
Drive in on N2, then follow M4 signs until you reach the beachfront. Stay on Marine Drive until you reach until you reach 11th Avenue. Turn right into 11th Avenue and drive until the stop street. Turn left into Brighton Drive and we are the second last place on the right hand side. No 87 Brighton Drive.
Directions when flying in
Turn right outside the airport into Allister Miller Drive. Continue until you reach La Roche Drive. Turn right in to La Roche Drive and continue until you reach Marine Drive. Turn right into Marine Drive and stay in Marine Drive until you reach 11th Avenue (approx. 3 km). Turn right into 11th Avenue and drive until the stop street. Turn left into Brighton Drive and we are the second last place on the right hand side. No 87 Brighton Drive.
