Property Description:
This luxury self-catering apartment consists of a lounge, dining area and a modern, fully fitted kitchen. There are three (3) double bedrooms with a main en-suite with a magnificent double volume shower and a full-second bathroom with separate bath and shower.
The apartment can comfortably sleep six people with a king-size bed in the main bedroom and two single beds in the other two bedrooms. The single beds can be converted into king-size beds on request.
Quality linen is provided. Off the lounge and the main bedroom are sliding doors onto the patio with views of the sea. 11 Wedgewood Terrace is in walking distance of the Umhlanga Village and several upmarket restaurants. A double lockable garage is provided for you vehicles.
11 Wedgewood Terrace is situated directly across the road from the access to the main bathing beach (Bronze Beach) in Umhlanga Rocks. 11 Wedgewood Terrace is a five minute drive from Gateway, (the largest shopping centre in the Southern Hemisphere) twenty minutes drive from Durban & Durban International Airport and the International Conference Centre (I. C. C.). A private first world hospital is a five minutes drive away by car. Sibaya Casino is a 5 minute drive away from 11 Wedgewood Terrace.
Directions to 11 Wedgewood Terrace
Heading North on the N2:
Take the M41 off-ramp (Umhlanga / Mount Edgecombe). Turn right (over the freeway) and continue for approx 1 km, passing Gateway Shopping Centre on your left. Take the M12 (Umhlanga Rocks Drive) off-ramp and continue north passing McDonalds and Umhlanga Hospital on your left. At the next traffic circle continue down Umhlanga Rocks Drive heading towards the sea. At the fourth set of traffic lights turn left into Chartwell Drive and Lagoon Drive.
Approximately 1.5km along this road you will see Wedgewood Terrace on your left. (At the intersection of Newlands and Lagoon Drives - Breakers Resort will be directly in front of you.)
Heading north on the M4:
Take the Umhlanga Rocks turn off. At the traffic lights turn right over the bridge (over the freeway). At the second set of traffic lights turn left into Chartwell Drive and Lagoon Drive. Approximately 1.5km along this road you will see Wedgewood Terrace on your left. (At the intersection of Newlands and Lagoon Drive - Breakers Resort will be directly in front of you.

Overview
| 11 Wedgewood Terrace is situated directly across the pedestrian access to Umhlanga premier beach, Bronze Beach, with views of the warm Indian Ocean.
This luxury, fully air-conditioned, 3 bedroom 2 bathroom (main en suite) self catering apartment is tiled throughout with tasteful porcelain tiles.
It comprises of an open plan lounge, dining area with a fully fitted granite topped kitchen with quality appliances – Fridge, under counter oven and hob, extractor, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble-drier. All crockery, cutlery is supplied as are “small appliances” such as toaster, kettle etc.
Off the dining area there is shady terrace, with many indigenous birds as regular visitors – An ideal place to unwind and taken in the virtues of a beach holiday.
The lounge is equipped with a DVD player and DSTV (connected to the main and second bedroom select channels). It leads, via large sliding doors on to the patio from where you can view the sun rise over the ocean.
The main bedroom has a king size double bed, is served by an en suite stylish bathroom with a double volume shower and a sliding door leading on to the patio.
The second bedroom bed arrangement can be adapted to either 2 single beds or a single king size bed – please specify your preference when booking.
The third bedroom has 2 single beds.
The patio has a granite bar counter overlooking the beautiful Indian Ocean, a Weber gas “braai” (barbeque) and a quality patio set (6 seater), ideal for “al fresco” meals.
Quality linen and toweling are provided. We request that you bring your own beach towels.
The apartment is serviced daily except Sundays and public holidays.
Access to the complex is by means of an electric gate and vehicle parking is provided by an automated double garage, conveniently situated below the apartment.
11 Wedgewood is within walking distance of Umhlanga Village, renown as one of South Africa’s premier sea-side holiday villages famous for it’s 5 km long beach promenade silhouetted by the “Umhlanga lighthouse”.
A wide selection of hotels, restaurants and bars provide the holiday maker with a variety of options to suite all occasions, tastes and budgets.
For the nature lover, also within walking distance is the indigenous Hawaan Forest.
11 Wedgewood is within 5 minutes drive from Gateway (SA’s largest shopping center) with boutiques, cinemas, restaurants, climbing wall, wave pool, skate park etc. etc.
Even closer is the Sharks Board with its unique displays of scientific studies of this intriguing species.
A first world standard private hospital is also less than 5 minutes drive way.
A little further but still in the vicinity, are several world class golf courses including the prestigious Mount Edgecombe and Zimbali courses as well as adventure facilities such as micro lighting, scuba diving, dolphin & whale watching, helicopter flips to mention just a few.
